OMG, Thailand is just like you imagined
Today’s activities
How do we get to the night market?
Well, we take a Tuk Tuk. Here’s what everyone had to say about the ride in a Tuk Tuk
Bug Eating
Almost everyone that visits a place like Thailand, or even China, talks about the strange creatures that are considered food. Some people even say that “If I were in Thailand, I’d give it a try. I mean, I’d eat bugs.”. But, now it’s time to put on my big-boy pants, grab some grubs, and get to eatin’. So, that’s exactly what I did.
By the way, Toni also tried these things with me. Although, I was so focused on eating the little critters, I don’t have any video of her eating them.
Food at The Night market
We had a great meal at the night market. Some food was better than other, but that’s the best part of a place like this. The food is priced as street food, and so it’s very inexpensive, and you can try one thing after the next. The only limit seems to be the size of your stomach, and your willingness to try new things.
When I was a kid, I was a very picky eater. But today, I’m in Thailand, at a night market, so I’ll try a whole lot of new things, without even batting an eye. Walking through the market is an experience unto itself. So, I’ve put together a montage of all of the amazing, and sometimes disturbing things that are for sale at the market. Enjoy….
What will tomorrow bring
Well, tomorrow we’ll leave Ayautthaya, and head down to Pattaya, the resort town. We’ll stop at one of Thailand’s factory outlet stores, hoping to get the deal of the century.
